Birds of our marsh
Over many years I have immersed myself in the landscape of the
Thames Estuary.
In 2023 I had a very successful exhibition in Gravesend called
‘Marshy Mud Flats & a Wreck’ which included collages, sketches, photographs, a slide show and poetry.
I also took a close look at the amount of rubbish that gets washed up along the shoreline, and displayed examples in the exhibition.
We need to be helping the natural world as much as possible
We will lose so much if we don’t restore nature now.
Marshy Mud Flats and the Call of the Curlew
My new exhibition 20th-29th June 2025 will be focused on
yes, you’ve guessed… CURLEWS.
An endangered species like so many are.
Curlews live on our marshes and have got under my skin !
a very apt place located next to The Thames on the North Kent marshes.
Come and listen to the sounds of these birds and more inside the Church
I’m looking forward to sharing this with you !
